Information for Researchers
Researchers who wish to use the psychology subject pool must be familiar with all RPG policies and procedures before they run experiments.
Researchers are given a Sona-Systems account to manage their studies. The website is located at: buffalo.sona-systems.com
Below is important information pertaining to studies conducted through the RPG (click on the links to access the PDF files).
Sona-Systems Instructions for Researchers – This document provides instructions on how to set up experiments and online surveys, recruit participants, assign credit, etc. It tells you everything you need to know to use the Sona-Systems website.
Pre-Screening Information and Instructions– This document provides instructions on how to submit pre-screening questions, recruit participants based on survey responses, and view/download data.
RPG Credit Policies and Procedures – This document outlines important RPG policies and procedures regarding participant credits (e.g., when you should vs. should not assign credit, how much credit to assign, etc.).
