Overview
Doctoral programs in the Department of Psychology emphasize research and scholarship contributing to the scientific understanding of psychology.
Our programs prepares graduate students
- to become leading researchers in their fields,
- to assume important positions in academic institutions or professional practice,
- and to make new contributions to knowledge through independent research.
Faculty mentors are drawn from four focused psychological sub-disciplines. Faculty who may be accepting graduate students are indicated on the pages for each of the four programs.
Admission is to one of the graduate programs, requiring formal acceptance to switch programs.
