The Department of Psychology at the University at Buffalo operates the Psychological Services Center (PSC) as a service to the UB students and staff, as well as the surrounding community. The PSC provides a broad array of psychological services, including counseling and therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups; psychological assessment and testing; and psychoeducational workshops.
The Psychological Services Center is the training clinic for the doctoral program in clinical psychology in UB’s Department of Psychology. It is likely that some of your assessment and treatment may be provided by one of our closely supervised graduate student trainees. The UB Psychology Department and the PSC’s commitment to training emphasizes the use of the most update-to-date and effective treatments.
